It's hard to believe this color is natural.
Blue halite, or rock salt, is a rare form of sodium chloride that gets its color from tiny clusters of colloidal sodium or trapped electrons within the crystal lattice, often caused by natural radiation. This high quality piece has very saturated color, great shape, clarity and patterning.
*important note- Halite crystals can NOT get wet or be stored in humid environments. A silica pack will be included at shipping to keep it dry.
