Imperial Jasper is a rare and highly prized variety of porcelain jasper. While most Imperial Jasper is found growing in 'veins' the Royal Imperial variety is even less common and can be found growing in individual nodules and is known for its distinctive orbicular "egg" patterns and soft, layered colors.
This is pair of Royal Imperial Jasper. The nodule has been sliced in half and beautifully polished to reveal the jasper within.
